PEAW Year-End
Award Qualifications
The following are the requirements to be eligible for Wisconsin
Hi-Point & Reserve Hi-Point year-end awards:
- You must show the same horse at least 2 of the 3 days, at
both the June and August sets of shows
- You must be present at the annual meeting for each
division in which you qualify.
- Plus you or a member of your immediate family (immediate
family consisting of: Mom, Dad, or sibling under 18 years of
age) must sell or sponsor 1 ad for our annual promotional
booklet. The booklet is printed in the spring, and current
members (those that had a membership in 2004) must submit
their ads along with payment by January 15 2006, any ads
received after printing will be used in next year's book. New
members must submit their ads along with payment before August
5, 2006.
Year-end award points are calculated using the PHBA point
system except Novice Amateur and Novice Youth awards. For
further clarification on the PHBA point system please refer to
the
national rule book.
The point system used to calculate year-end awards for Novice
Amateur and Novice Youth is described below.
First place gets an equivalent number of points to the number of
entries in a class. If there are more then 6 entries in a class
no points will be awarded after sixth place. See table below for
examples:

shown below is a list of the classes that are used to accumulate
points in each category. (The following is only a guideline, the
show committee can add or change classes as they see fit):
